Jemson Cabinetry wins best kitchen in BIA's Remodeling Showcase Awards

Jemson Cabinetry was awarded Best Kitchen: Division 1, at the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Lancaster County’s, Remodeling Showcase Awards Luncheon. The event, held annually, judges remodelers in a variety of categories and price ranges. Judges consider the overall project, including; value, proper design and aesthetics, as well as other criteria.

Jemson Cabinetry’s award-winning kitchen is in the Blue Lake area of Lancaster County. This kitchen also won the Susquehanna Valley’s Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association Design Award. In the project, a large built-in pantry and powder room were eliminated to widen the kitchen by almost 8’. This created additional space for a large center island with seating, as well as a bank of utility cabinets with roll-out trays and a beverage center.

According to David Palm, owner, and designer, this is Jemson Cabinetry’s 4th winning entry with the BIA’s Annual event. “Certainly, it is a great honor to win these awards for our hard work, and that of our team partners, but more importantly; these projects represent satisfied customers. That is the real reward for us.”

Jemson Cabinetry, while best known for cabinetry and countertops, has always offered full renovation packages for the kitchen and bath. Currently, Jemson Cabinetry is expanding and renovating their showroom to feature flooring, tile and bath fixtures. “Half of the Jemson Cabinetry building will focus on kitchens, while the other half will be bathrooms and tile, with a variety of flooring,” said Palm. An Open House is being planned upon the completion later this year.
