Our Story

Built on Craft
and Trust

Jemson Renovations & Design was founded on a simple idea: homeowners deserve a remodeling experience that's as well-built as the kitchen itself. For over 40 years, what started as a small crew has grown into a full design-and-build team — but our hands-on, detail-first approach hasn't changed.

In 2022, David passed the business on to Jason and Amy, who had worked alongside him for years as members of the Jemson team. The name on the door changed, but the standard behind it didn't — Jason and Amy lead today, alongside co-owner Abby, with the same craftsmanship and care David built the company on.

We take on every project as if it were our own home, combining thoughtful design with skilled craftsmanship to create spaces that are beautiful, durable, and a joy to use every day.

Jason

President & Owner

As President and Owner of Jemson, Jason leads with a multifaceted role encompassing finance, sales management, customer satisfaction, and serving as the chief motivator for the Jemson team. Born and raised in Ephrata, Jason graduated from Ephrata Senior High School in 2000, and also Brownstown Career & Technology Center where he studied construction technology. He focused on dual studies in business management from Harrisburg Community College (HACC), and management information systems and business analytics at Colorado State University Global, with a minor in meteorology. Jason and his wife, Abby, are proud parents to three children and a spirited Rhodesian Ridgeback. They call Ephrata home and enjoy making memories with loved ones and traveling, boating, hiking, or simply enjoying quality time together.

Amy

Vice President & Owner

As Vice President and Owner, Amy plays an integral role in every project, collaborating closely with designers to grasp the unique intricacies that define each Jemson renovation. Amy maintains constant communication with customers and onsite technicians, diligently ensuring that every aspect of the project, from conception to completion, stays on track and exceeds expectations. Outside of work, Amy finds joy in celebrating special moments with her husband, Eric, and adult children. She also treasures her leisure time spent at the family cabin, creating lasting memories amidst the peacefulness of nature.

Abby

Design Specialist & Owner

Abby wears many hats at Jemson Renovations and Design, serving as both a Designer and Owner since August 2022. Her journey in architecture began in high school, where she discovered her passion for design and honed her skills through CAD and photography classes. At Jemson, Abby's primary focus is translating her clients' visions into reality. She thrives on creating innovative and personalized design layouts, guiding clients through every step of the process, and offering expert advice to bring their unique styles to life. As an owner, Abby is also deeply involved in marketing initiatives and long-term strategic planning. With her outgoing personality, Abby finds joy in connecting with her clients and building lasting relationships. Beyond work, she treasures time spent with her family, including her husband Jason and their three children, as well as their lively and beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback. Abby's hobbies include running, reading, and exploring both national and international destinations.

David

Former President, Sales & Design

With over 40 years in the industry, David has dedicated his career to helping friends and neighbors bring their home design visions to life. As Jemson's Former President and a valued member of the Sales and Design team, he pairs decades of hands-on experience with a genuine passion for the craft on every project he touches. David's mission is a simple one: to transform each client's space into a functional, stunning haven that welcomes family and guests alike with sophisticated, thoughtful design built to stand the test of time. Whether guiding a homeowner through their options or refining the finer details of a plan, his expertise and deep investment in the community shine through in the results.

Karly helps coordinate the details that keep projects on schedule and clients in the loop.

Cyrus

Lead Field Technician

Cyrus has been an invaluable member of the Jemson Renovations and Design team since 2015. His personality perfectly complements the easygoing attitude and commitment to craftsmanship that define Jemson. Cyrus wears many hats within the company, from executing onsite field installations to efficiently managing the warehouse and lending his expertise to project coordination. Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Cyrus honed his skills in finish carpentry at Thaddeus Stevens. His proficiency extends to concrete and rough carpentry work, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft. Cyrus is happily married with two children and is often found hiking and exploring nature with his family.
