Meet the team
Jason Rutter
As President and Owner of Jemson, Jason leads with a multifaceted role encompassing finance, sales management, customer satisfaction, and serving as the chief motivator for the Jemson team.
Born and raised in Ephrata, Jason graduated from Ephrata Senior High School in 2000, and also Brownstown Career & Technology Center where he studied construction technology. He focused on dual studies in business management from Harrisburg Community College (HACC), and management information systems and business analytics at Colorado State University Global, with a minor in meteorology.
Jason and his wife, Abby, are proud parents to three children and a spirited Rhodesian Ridgeback. They call Ephrata home and enjoy making memories with loved ones and traveling, boating, hiking, or simply enjoying quality time together.
Amy Weaver
As Vice President and Owner, Amy plays an integral role in every project, collaborating closely with designers to grasp the unique intricacies that define each Jemson renovation. Amy maintains constant communication with customers and onsite technicians, diligently ensuring that every aspect of the project, from conception to completion, stays on track and exceeds expectations.
Outside of work, Amy finds joy in celebrating special moments with her Husband, Eric, and adult children. She also treasures her leisure time spent at the family cabin, creating lasting memories amidst the peacefulness of nature.
Abby Rutter
Abby wears many hats at Jemson Renovations and Design, serving as both a Designer and Owner since August 2022. Her journey in architecture began in high school, where she discovered her passion for design and honed her skills through CAD and photography classes.
At Jemson, Abby's primary focus is translating her clients' visions into reality. She thrives on creating innovative and personalized design layouts, guiding clients through every step of the process, and offering expert advice to bring their unique styles to life. As an owner, Abby is also deeply involved in marketing initiatives and long-term strategic planning.
With her outgoing personality, Abby finds joy in connecting with her clients and building lasting relationships. Beyond work, she treasures time spent with her family, including her husband Jason and their three children, as well as their lively and beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback. Abby's hobbies include running, reading, and exploring both national and international destinations.
Tonya Martin
Tonya Martin is a key part of the Jemson Renovations and Design team, serving as an Account Manager and Executive Assistant since January 2023. With a diverse skill set and unwavering dedication, Tonya plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
In her position, Tonya handles various responsibilities, including product ordering, accounts payable management, front desk reception, and adding a sprinkle of humor by pranking vacationing colleagues. Her ability to juggle tasks with precision and maintain a positive atmosphere embodies the spirit of teamwork at Jemson Renovations and Design.
Tonya finds fulfillment in the camaraderie and shared commitment to customer satisfaction that define the company culture. Outside of the office, she cherishes time with her family in Ephrata, where she resides with her husband, Anthony, and three children. Tonya's passions include cooking & baking, outdoor adventures, and nurturing her garden oasis.
Shayla Lee
Shayla brings her creative flair to Jemson Renovations and Design as a dedicated Designer, joining the team in April 2023. In her role, she collaborates closely with clients, bringing their visions to life while also spearheading the project's sales process.
Immersing herself in the vibrant atmosphere of Jemson, Shayla finds inspiration in the people and energy that surround her. Growing up in a military family, Shayla is no stranger to change, having moved frequently and adapting to new environments. As the youngest and only girl among five siblings, she learned the value of resilience and adaptability from a young age.
Now settled in Reading, Pennsylvania, Shayla is happily married and shares her home with two adorable feline companions, Vanta and Karma. Outside of work, she finds solace in the beauty of nature, enjoys losing herself in a good book, expressing her creativity through painting, and unleashing her inner superstar at karaoke nights. With a playlist that often includes Taylor Swift tunes, Shayla's love for music knows no bounds.
Cyrus Wright
Cyrus has been an invaluable member of the Jemson Renovations and Design team since 2015. His personality perfectly complements the easygoing attitude and commitment to craftsmanship that define Jemson. Cyrus wears many hats within the company, from executing onsite field installations to efficiently managing the warehouse and lending his expertise to project coordination.
Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Cyrus honed his skills in finish carpentry at Thaddeus Stevens. His proficiency extends to concrete and rough carpentry work, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft. Cyrus is happily married with two children and is often found hiking and exploring nature with his family.
Alex Roark
Alex has been a part of the Jemson Renovations team since March 2021, serving as an Assistant Field Technician. His responsibilities include maintaining the warehouse, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth operations on-site.
Proudly calling Ephrata, Pennsylvania, his hometown, Alex shares his life with his girlfriend and two feline companions. He appreciates the convenience and camaraderie that Jemson offers, finding satisfaction in the flexible schedule and positive company culture.
Outside of work, Alex indulges in his hobbies, including gaming on Xbox, hitting the gym to stay active, and taking strolls downtown with his cats.
Alissia Bair
Alissia began her journey with Jemson as an intern in the fall of 2022, showcasing her dedication and skills before joining the team full-time in 2024. As a valuable member, Ali spearheads all marketing efforts at Jemson
Renovations & Design, utilizing her creativity to enhance the company's brand presence. Additionally, she contributes as a design assistant, providing support to Jemson’s designers, clients, and office staff. She also extends a warm welcome to visitors at the showroom.
Growing up as one of seven siblings in an adopted family, Ali understands the value of connection and belonging. She finds fulfillment in the close-knit environment at Jemson, where the team feels like family.
Beyond the office, Ali cherishes moments spent outdoors, whether it's takingleisurely walks, enjoying quality time with her loved ones, or soaking up the sun at the beach.
