Adamstown Road - Bathroom Remodel

Project Overview

East Millport Road Kitchen Remodel — 1800’s Farmhouse Renovation

Project Overview
Home in the family for over three generations. Had an outdated kitchen and needed to update the lighting. Plaster and brick walls were challenging due to plumb and squaring.

Added island seating for 8 to replace a kitchen table. Double pullout trash cans and roll out trays in the island.

There was considerable storage added by:
  • Increasing the height of the wall cabinetry
  • Adding a 24” pantry with rollout trays
  • Adding an island with storage where the table used to be

Blue Lake Kitchen Remodel

Project Overview
The homeowners desired not only a fresh look and finish, but also a major change in the layout and functionality of the kitchen. Also, to accommodate their growing family, they wanted a large island for storage and seating for at least 4 persons. Additional storage was a very important need as well. Additional requests were for a built in microwave, wood hood, and space for a TV.

The existing kitchen had large built in pantry and attached powder room. Due to the close proximity of the powder room in the adjacent laundry, this bath and the pantry were removed. This increased the kitchen floor space by 6’ allowing for the large island with plenty of room for seating. The existing plumbing was utilized for a small wet bar and refreshment center with under counter refrigerator and a great place for the microwave. Additional space was added by increasing the heights of all wall cabinets and the pantry units all have rollout shelves to maximize accessibility and storage.
